i have an xbox live gold account, and it’s on a credit card, and i tried to get on one day and i received a messege that i needed to “update my payment options”

so i clicked the little button to go to “Update Profile” and it took me to what looked like the Account Management menu.
It had the little circular loading icon at the bottom, and once it goes around 2 or 3 times, it takes me back to the dashboard, or just signs my account in

My dad signed up for a gold account for me on Xbox Live. It used his email and his credit card. However, I think the subscription ran out or something, and when i log on with the account it says : “Your account has been suspended due to a problem with your payment option. Please use a different payment option or update your current information in Account Management” then has 2 options “Update Profile” or “Cancel”. Cancel just closes the window and stops me from signing in to Live. When I do Update Profile it goes to the Account Management screen and shows the loading sign below all of the options. However, as soon as it finishes loading it takes me back to the Xbox Live section of the dashboard, with Demon Gooner’s Profile activated but not connected to Xbox Live. I thought of using the Account Recovery as I thought it was worth a go. However, when I go onto it it asks for the Windows Live ID email and password. The email is stevenrhughes@hotmail.com, my dad’s email. Ctd…
However, he set the password and has forgotten it, so i cant do that. When i tried to set a new password online, it said that I couldnt because I didnt have account recovery questions, because it didnt ask me to make them when I made the account. I contacted the Windows Live ID people about it but they wanted the number of the credit card that had been used to sign the account up, but my dad has multiple credit cards, does not keep his card statement things, and so he has no idea what credit card he used or even if he still has that particular credit card. I think i can safely say we are in trouble, but i REALLY want to try CoD 4 and some of the new games coming out on Live so really want to get it working! Any suggestions? My little brother’s game “Poke’mon Gold Version” on his Gameboy color won’t save. He’s really bummed because he was playing for a long time then one day he turned it on and all it said for the options was “New Game” and “Options”. He tried to play it again, and it saved, but when he went back, it didn’t for the second time. Is there a way to fix it? He’s only a little kid and I feel bad because I bought it for him…. It only saves when he first starts, and that’s when he saves it twice. Any suggestions besides saying it’s it’s time to go and chucking it in garbage?

i have gold, but i ran out of gold membership so i purchased 3months of gold before it ran out. Now when i log into my account, it tells me “Your account has been suspended due to problems with payment options”. I have messed with everything(account management and settings etc.), but it seems i can not go onto my account. It appears i still have gold because where it says my gamertag, it has a GOLD background, not silver or anything. Even if i did run out of gold it should convert to silver automatically. What is wrong and what can i do about? Should i call Microsoft about it? PLEASE HELP!
And when im at the dashboard, and go to -My XBOX, above xbox LIVE it says DISCONNECTED. But when i use other accounts on my xbox like some that i made for friends, it works fine.(it says im signed into silver)
